Club not closing and event is on

A CHARITY night is being held in Shankhouse Club in Cramlington on Saturday, July 10, with the proceeds going to Macmillan Cancer Support.

The band Legacy are playing and are giving their services free. There is also a grand raffle.

My son is the chairman for the RAOB Province this year and as one of his chosen charities he has decided to do this in memory of his mum and all cancer victims.

The sale of tickets seemed to dry up a bit then we were told a lot of people were under the impression that Shankhouse Club was closing due to rumours.

I hope that this letter will show people that it is just a rumour and the club will still be open.

This is a charity that needs all the support it can get so please get a ticket from behind the bar or pay at the door on the night. Entrance tickets are £1.

Thank you for your support.
