Green fingered Seaton Valley residents are being reminded that there is still over a month left to enter a popular garden competition.
The Seaton Valley In Bloom Gardening Competition 2013 is open to all residents and businesses within Seaton Valley.
Sponsored by Seaton Valley Council, the popular competition is returning with prizes awarded for the following categories:
n Best residential garden/yard;
n Best allotment plot;
n Best business display, and
n Best hanging basket/container.
Paul Smith, chair of Seaton Valley In Bloom, said: “The garden competition is a great way to encourage local people to make the most of their gardens, and to bring added colour and vibrancy to the area.
“It’s a great way to acknowledge and reward their efforts.”
Anyone interested in entering, can download the application form from www.seatonvalleycommunitycouncil.gov.uk and send it to firstname.lastname@example.org along with a photo of the entry by Friday, July 26.
