A concert is being held tonight to help raise money for a former footballer.
Cramlington Village Club on will host the music night from 7pm until 10pm to help raise money for the Scott Bell Fund.
The fund was set up by former Blyth Spartans and Bedlington Terriers striker Scott Bell after he was diagnosed with motor neurone disease earlier this year.
Along with his family and friends, he is aiming to raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association to help fund research aimed at finding a cure for the disease.
Two acts are lined up to perform – Paul Brydon and Cramlington’s Gary Phelan, one of the wannabe stars featured on the BBC1 music show Fame Academy.
They will be performing a mixture of music, including covers of classics by Oasis and the Jam and more.
Tickets for the event cost £5. To buy one, e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org
