With just days to go, final preparations are well under way for a day of free family entertainment at Blyth beach.
Northumberland Live is promising a real party when bands take to the stage at the Mermaid car park from noon on Saturday, August 23.
The festival will feature chart-toppers The Christians, alongside a host of local musicians including Cattle and Cane, Tony Bengtsson, Iceni, STAN, Alistair Sheering, Joe Taylor, Fiona Clayton and Jen and the Hiccups.
Aside from the music, the festival promises a great day out with Metro and Magic DJs making sure everyone is singing and their feet are tapping to the music, and locally-based food suppliers showcasing the best local produce.
As well as the music there is also going to be street theatre to keep children and their parents entertained.
All this and more with a spectacular backdrop of the north east coastline and golden sands just yards away.
Festival goers can bring camping rugs and deck chairs along with the family and friends.
On-site parking is limited, but there is free parking in the centre of Blyth, Blyth Quayside or the Ranch car park, with a free park and ride service on dedicated buses at either Blyth Library or by the Spirit of the Staithes roundabout just off Blyth Quayside.
