STUDENTS and staff at Cramlington Learning Village are celebrating another year of successful GCSE results.

Jennifer Rahman achieved an A* in chemistry and history as well as an A in physics, biology, French, business studies, English language and literature, maths and humanities.

“It’s great that all my hard work has finally paid off and revising practically every night,” she said.

“I was so nervous, I just wanted it over with.

“When I saw my results I was just like, “yes!”.”

Jennifer is now looking forward to studying chemistry, history, biology and maths in sixth form.

Ben Todd also had something to smile about after he gained an A* in product design as well as As in humanities, business studies, English literature, biology, chemistry and physics, a merit in diploma ICT.

He said: “I was shaking when I opened my envelope. I was quite nervous.”

Ben will also be returning to sixth form to study maths, physics, chemistry and product design.
