THREE cars were broken into in south east Northumberland over the weekend.
Between 7.15pm on Friday, August 24 and 10.10am the following day, a satellite navigation system was stolen from a car in Henshaw Grove in Blyth.
A second car was also broken into overnight between Friday and Saturday in Blackhaugh Drive and a third in Denham Drive, in Seaton Delaval.
Acting Inspector Kathryn Tailford said: “We want to remind people not to leave valuables on display in empty cars and make sure they don’t leave unattended vehicles insecure, particularly overnight.
“It only takes a few moments to lock the car and remove any valuables and could help stop someone from being a victim of crime.
“If anyone has any information about these thefts, or if they saw anything out of the ordinary in these areas overnight on Friday and Saturday we’d urge them to get in contact.”
Police can be contacted on 101 ext 69191.
