FOUR homes in the Morpeth area were broken into over one night.
The properties in the Red Row area were targeted between midnight and just after 11am on Saturday, August 13.
Items stolen included two laptops and the keys to a black Toyota Landcruiser, which was taken by the raiders.
Officers later located and recovered the stolen vehicle in the Lynemouth area.
Acting DCI Jeff Brown of Northumberland Area Command said: “Anyone with any information about these burglaries is asked to come forward and contact police.
“I’d also urge people to help us make life as difficult as possible for these criminals.
“By taking a few simple crime prevention measures such as locking all doors and windows where you can, even when you’re at home and ensuring cars are locked.
“When in the house, put your car keys somewhere safe and secure and out of sight.”
Anyone with any information or who saw suspicious activity in the Red Row area is asked to contact police on 03456 043043 ext 69191 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
