Power tools stolen from vehicles in Seaton Delaval

A NUMBER of work tools have been stolen from a van parked in Seaton Delaval.

Raiders broke into the vehicle parked in Mindrum Way and removed a several items.

These included a Makita drill, DeWalt drill, a Henry vacuum cleaner and Tom Tom sat nav.

A Nissan Navara 4x4 parked in the Wallridge Drive area was also broken into around the same time and a Stihl saw was stolen.

Police are urging all owners to remove valuables from their cars and vans overnight and ensure they are locked.

The thefts took place sometime between 8.30pm on Wednesday, September 21, and 7.20am on Thursday, September 22.
