An elderly man suffered serious injuries after being knocked off his bike.
The incident happened at 9.20am on Sunday, June 30, on the A1061 Laverock Hall roundabout when, for reasons yet to be established, a car collided the 80-year-old cyclist.
The man was taken to Wansbeck General Hospital for treatment.
The driver did not stop, but police believe the vehicle was a silver people carrier, possibly a Citroën Picasso, with the start of the registration believed to be NH06.
