A special service took place at the weekend to dedicate a new war memorial.
The new memorial is now in place at Seghill Community Centre, and a service was held on Saturday which included a march of Northumberland Army Cadets, the British Legion and war veterans
The march past was taken by the Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Northumberland, Col John Anderson.
Vice-chairman of Seghill Community Association, George Arnott, said: “The ceremony was well attended and a great occasion for the village.
“Special thanks goes to Coun Margaret Richards, who was the main supporter of the project, and all the village volunteers who helped to make it a success.”
