A housing development is providing the first ever sponsored kits to three football teams at a disabled forum.
Taylor Wimpey’s Crofton Grange development is providing Blyth Valley Disabled Forum’s teams with the strips.
The donation has paid for the kit, numbers and logos for 24 players across three teams in the Mini League.
Richard Simmons, chairman at Blyth Valley Disabled Forum, said: “Our teams were established seven years ago and thanks to their huge popularity, they have since gone from strength to strength leading them to win division one in the North East Ability Counts League last season.
“Thanks to Taylor Wimpey’s generous donation, the team now has a sense of belonging. Confidence levels have really shot up amongst the players.
“The boys welcomed news of Taylor Wimpey’s donation with claps of hands and shouts of joy, and they are extremely excited to sport their new sponsored kits.”
