ASHINGTON Judo Club has been given four training dummies by Northumbria Police Charities Fund.

Northumberland area command fund trustee Sarah Dodds said: “Ashington Judo Club is attended by mixed ages and abilities and we are delighted we were able to help out by donating this equipment.”

Wayne Broderick, who runs the club, added: “A massive thank you to the Northumbria Police Charities Fund for this equipment, which will be well used by all members of the Club.”
