Children are being given the chance to get outdoors and roam free, experiencing all the benefits of nature in the setting of Northumberlandia this bank holiday.
Wild Tots takes place on Monday, May 4, from 10am to 11am, offering youngsters under the age of five the chance to come along to the Cramlington site and take part in, including bear hunting, worm chasing, exploring mini-beasts and nature treasure trails.
Wild tots is organised by Northumberland Wildlife Trust, as part of a nationwide campaign to get children under five enjoying wildlife.
The sessions at Northumberlandia are being run by Footprints on the Moon, which is a local community enterprise. They offer the chance for creative messy play, movement and music in a natural outdoor surrounding for children under the age of five.
