A youngster baked up a treat to raise money for a cancer charity.
Eve Wilson, of Stakeford, organised a Macmillan Coffee Afternoon to support the organisation.
The nine-year-old was inspired to hold the event last week after her grandmother Margaret was diagnosed with breast cancer late last year, undergoing treatment and a mastectomy at the start of the year.
Eve, a pupil at Stakeford Primary School, helped to bake a range of cakes and flapjacks for close family and neighbours.
And Eve managed to raise £51 for Macmillan Cancer Charity.
Eve’s mother Julie said: “It’s been a incredibly hard year and I’m so immensely proud of my girl.”
