RESIDENTS of south east Northumberland will be able to enjoy free and discounted entry to lots of visitor attractions this weekend.
The offer is part of Northumberland County Council’s second annual residents’ festival, taking place on Saturday and Sunday, April 9 and 10.
More than 2,000 county residents took up the offer of free or cut-price entry to castles and museums at last year’s inaugural event.
Attractions taking part include Seaton Delaval Hall and Ashington’s Woodhorn Museum.
Council chairman Marcia Bircham, of Ashington, said: “We hope that as many people as possible take the opportunity to experience the wonderful attractions Northumberland has to offer.”
