Northumbrian software firm Mandata has recruited five new members of staff to help it cope with its ongoing expansion.

Its new recruits are all based at its head office at Cramlington’s Northumberland Business Park.

The firm, a specialist in developing transport management systems for the haulage and logistics industry, now employs more than 70 staff at three locations across Europe, and a further recruitment drive is ongoing.

Three of the five new faces at its Silverton Court office – Craig Green, Teresa Davidson and Andrew Shore – have joined its implementation services as consultants, overseeing the installation of Mandata systems at new and existing customer sites across the UK. Lee Gowland has joined the company’s cloud and mobile division as an advanced services technical support worker, and Leanne Tonks has been taken on as a marketing and sales assistant.

Chief executive Mark Norcliffe said: “As a company, Mandata has taken significant steps towards developing an active recruitment process in the past few months, which has resulted in us hiring several new members of staff.

“By actively seeking new talent, we can look to further develop the skill sets within the business, as well as respond to growing demand for our transport management solutions.”
