Fashion show on lookout for young models

Organisers of a charity fashion show are on the lookout for young models to take part.

The Prom Show, which is being organised by new local company 2 Non Blondes, will be taking place at Northumbria University on Sunday, March 8, from 10am to 4pm.

Organisers are working in conjunction with Metro Radio’s Cash for Kids, with a large percentage of income from the day going to the local children’s charity.

There will be everything youngsters need to attend their prom under one roof, from dresses and suit hire to hair and beauty, and transport.

Claire Hanson, co-founder of 2 Non Blondes, said: “Our aim is also to promote positive body image and as part of this, we are seeking models of all shapes and sizes to get involved in the day.

“We want to highlight the importance of being healthy and happy and so are looking for boys and girls from across the north east who may not have thought about modelling before to come to the auditions and give it a go.”

Auditions will be taking place on February 1, at the Hyena Comedy Club in Newcastle, between 10am and 4pm.

Auditions are by appointment only and can booked by emailing events@2nonblondesevents.co.uk
