Families are being invited to get into the Christmas spirit.

Northumberland College’s Kirkley Hall campus is holding its annual Countryside Christmas Fair on Saturday, November 14, and Sunday, November 15.

More than 8,500 visitors from all over the north east visited the two-day event last year.

The fair offers a host of festive-themed stalls and entertainment.

Attractions include a hog roast, Santa’s story time, choirs, flower arranging, balloon sculptures and a bubble-ologist, who will be blowing giant bubbles throughout the day.

Stars of Frozen, Elsa and Anna, will also be popping along to make sure everyone has a magical time.

The event, which runs from 10am to 4pm each day, is a great chance to stock up on stocking fillers – and even bigger gifts – for Christmas.

More than 120 craft, gift and food stalls will exhibit at the event, selling everything from cards and stationery to cars.

Free parking is provided in the fields surrounding the site.

Entry costs £3 per person and includes entry to Kirkley Hall Zoological Gardens.
