I HAVE written on this subject before but obviously to no avail.
While watching the Olympic torch pass by, I noticed most of the small Union flags being waved by the children were made upside down.
Now the people in some distant country who made the flags cannot be blamed, but the companies who buy these cheap imports can, that is assuming no English company would make these flags upside down.
They at least should know which way up our flag flies, and if they do not they should feel ashamed.
Our young men have, and still are, fighting for this flag. The least we can do is learn how to fly that same flag correctly, if not for them but for the pride we should have in our own country.
I have included a photo of the Union flag the right way and wrong way up. Can your readers spot the difference?
