Wansbeck Disability Forum has been relaunched and is now based in The Life Centre in Ashington.

Ian Lavery, MP, is patron of the organisation, which will work alongside Rev Davey Falcus in offering various services to members of the local community.

The forum is now looking at new projects, such as working with groups that deal with domestic violence, and bringing awareness of disabled people who are living in such circumstances.

Karon Cook, chairman and founder of the group, said: “Now we have a new home the forum will be doing what we do best, we listen, we care and we support those who need it the most.”
