VISITORS to Woodhorn this Friday the 13th are being invited to experience a special ‘spooky toor’.
The special Museums at Night activities taking place Friday, will see vistors given the chance to peep into dark corners and hear creepy tales.
The special evening has been organised as part of the national Museums at Night initiative which is an annual after-hours celebration of arts, history and heritage.
At Woodhorn, the event has been co-ordinated by youngsters involved in the Time Travel Northumberland project, part of NE-Generation which is funded by Legacy Trust UK.
Juliet Hardy, creative mentor for NE Generation said: “The young people are very excited about the evening and they have put a lot of thought and work into planning the activities.
“They really deserve to have lots of visitors to make their efforts worthwhile and to make it go with a swing.”
The event runs from 5pm to 8pm at Woodhorn Museum, and tickets are just £2.50 in advance or £3 on the night.
