Care home residents had a spook-tacular time when they joined in some Hallowe’en fun.
Folk at RMBI care home, Scarbrough Court in Cramlington, dressed as witches and wizards for a scary treat.
They were invited by local charity MIND Active to join the party at Briardale Community Centre in Blyth, organised for people living with dementia and their families.
They enjoyed delicious food at the venue, which was decorated with Hallowe’en garlands, dressed as witches and wizards and joined in with the singing and dancing.
Activities coordinator Dawn Peters said: “The day was a great opportunity for residents to get together and enjoy the celebrations.
“A special highlight of the day was the visit of children from the local nursery who joined residents to dance and sing along to songs.”
RMBI cares for older Freemasons and their families, as well as some people in the community.
It provides a home for more than 1,000 people across England and Wales.
