Keel Row Shopping Centre in Blyth are getting in to the Christmas Spirit this year, asking kind hearted shoppers to buy for less fortunate children.
The ‘Give a Gift’ campaign aims to make a child smile this Christmas and Keel Row is working with North East NSPCC and St Oswald’s Hospice to give children a present.
A Christmas tree will be placed in the shopping centre and will include tags with the age and gender of children supported by the services. Shoppers can then select a tag from the tree and buy an appropriate gift for the child whilst doing their Christmas shopping.
Shoppers are asked to drop off their unwrapped present, along with the tag selected from the tree, at the Centre Management Office in Keel Row by Monday December 16.
Callum Reid, Keel Row Centre Manager said they pleased to be working alongside St Oswald’s and the North East NSPCC for the Give a Gift campaign.
