This week is the last chance for applications for the Northumberland Youth Enterprise Fund (NYEF).
So far the scheme, which provides a grant fund, support and advice to assist young people in Northumberland with their start-up businesses, has had a number of successful applicants, and those from last year are continuing to receive support, advice and guidance.
The NYEF, now into its second year, is available to Northumberland residents aged between 16 and 25 to assist with the development of a business idea or business start-up costs. The cash fund is intended to be flexible and existing businesses are also eligible to apply if they are within one year of commencing trading and the business is based in the county. The closing date for applications is Sunday, January 19. Visit www.northumberland.gov.uk/NYEF
