Local band returns to Blyth for summer carnival

The Blyth Hearts Band has not performed in Blyth for a number of years, having spent a lot of time competing in other parts of the country, so many will be pleased to hear that the local band will soon be holding their annual carnival.

Up to a dozen bands will be performing, with Blyth’s own band carrying out a display at the conclusion of the competition.

The event will be held at Briardale Community Centre at Cowpen Estate, and offers many attractions, including a bouncy castle, candy floss, an ice cream van and various stalls.

For any who wish to attend the carnival and support their local band, the event will be held on Sunday, June 23.
