Thousands of families set sail into a sea of family fun as a county shopping centre celebrated its annual pirates’ day.
More than 31,000 shoppers visited Manor Walks in Cramlington as the centre welcomed families aboard its Pirate Family Fun Day, hosted at Cramlington Town Square in partnership with Concordia Leisure Centre, Blyth Valley Arts and Leisure and Cramlington Town Council.
Bruno Coppola, general manager at Manor Walks, said: “We like to regularly reward our customers for their valuable time spent at Manor Walks, which helps to make the centre such a vibrant place to visit.
“Each year the event stands as a cornerstone in our summer calendar and it is wonderful to gather the community together for it.
“It was fantastic to welcome familiar faces and new ones to the event, which attracts a great family crowd.”
