Appeal after festive lights are damaged

POLICE are appealing for information after Christmas lights were damaged and stolen.

A set of lights were stolen from outside a house at Newby Close, Bedlington, at 6pm on Wednesday, December 12. Three people were seen running off.

And at 7.50pm the lights outside a house in Park Avenue, Bedlington were damaged.

Three youths seen in the area are described as:

n A boy aged 13 to 14, about 4ft tall with a pale complexion;

n A boy aged 12 to 13, smaller than 4ft, skinny build, with pale complexion, wearing a green coloured hooded top and dark bottoms;

n A girl aged 13 to 14, about 4ft tall of medium build, with a pale complexion, dark long hair past the shoulders, wearing a red tracksuit top and red bottoms.

Witnesses should contact police on 101 ext 69191.
