Blyth girl in running for Glamour Girl of the Year

A BLYTH beauty is hoping to be crowned Glamour Girl of the Year in a nationwide competition.

Jane Gair, 21, is hoping to go through to the north east live area semi-final, and on to win the ultimate title and 10,000 worth of prizes.

Architects assistant Jane, from Berwick Court, said: "I'm a very competitive girl which is why I enter such competitions as Glamour Girl of the Year, which heavily support local and national charities.

"It's always a lot of fun competing and meeting other girls who follow the same ambitions as me.

"I love fashion, photography, modelling and anything that involves meeting new people and organising events."

Twelve girls will be chosen from the 40 finalists as the calendar girls for a pin-up style calendar which will then be sold to raise cash for a range of charities.

The winner of the Glamour girl of the Year will also become the cover girl and pose for the pull out centrefold pin up poster which will accompany the calendar.

To vote for Jane text GLAM1425 to 88010 – texts costs 1 per vote plus your normal cost of a text, and closing date for votes is June 30, or vote online at www.glamourgirloftheyear.org
