Pupils at a Cramlington school who cycled or scooted to school were rewared with a Bikers’ Breakfast.
Almost 200 youngsters, some aged as young as four, from Burnside Primary School, took part in the event, organised by Sustrans.
School manager Elaine Wright: “As a school, we will continue to find ways to encourage and support children who could cycle more.
“This is our second Bikers’ Breakfast event and it turned out to be even bigger and better than the last one.”
After the Bikers’ Breakfast, children from Reception and Year 1 were invited to learn to ride their bike without stabilisers.
