Toddlers and their parents joined staff at an Ashington nursery to celebrate the facility’s ten-year anniversary.
The Ashington Minors nursery in Back Sycamore Street held a special party at the weekend, with stalls and party games.
Visitors had the chance to throw a custard pie at staff, and the children ended the celebrations on a high by gunging all the staff.
Manager Claire Tatum said: “We had a great day on Saturday and were joined by our parents to celebrate ten years of being open.
“We have had many happy years at Ashington Minors and have gone from strength to strength with 99 per cent of staff being with us from the start, which is absolutely great.”
