Learners who passed a series of courses at a Blyth centre have been presented with certificates.

Blyth Resource Initiative Centre (BRIC) held the presentation event at the Eric Tolhurst Centre in Quay Road last Thursday.

Blyth Valley MP Ronnie Campbell was on hand to take part in the ‘celebration of learning’, presenting awards and certificates to the learners that have passed accredited courses over the last 12 months.

It was followed by a family fun day for the whole community to take part in. Activities included face painting, bouncy castle, balloon modelling, basketball skills, circus skills, tombola, raffle, food and drinks, kiddie crafts, meet and greet a minion and more.
