Children create poster about the UK

BLYTH school children have been thinking about what their country means to them as part of a project with schools in Turkey and Poland.

The kids of St Andrew's First School have painted, taken photographs, used computer software and a lot of cutting and pasting to create their own poster about the UK.

And simultaneously a school in Turkey and another in Poland have been doing the same and teachers from the foreign schools visited St Andrew's last week to join the posters together to create a European banner.

The visit took place with the help of a 'comeneus grant' which funded the international partnership.
