Club appeals for volunteers

A youth club is appealing for volunteers to help them continue their work to prevent the club from folding.

North Seaton Community Centre Association may have to fold if a voluntary youth leader and supporters are not found to manage activities at the centre.

Chairman Colin Nevin said: “I took over last September and soon after we started the junior youth club on a Tuesday nights from 5.45pm until 7pm which has grown to over 30 children each week.

“But the leader and two helpers have left this last week and now to keep going we need a voluntary youth leader and supporters, to manage activities in and out doors.

“If we can not find any one to help the club will have to close.”

The club also hosts Brownies, Guides, bingo, a carpet bowls club, powerhoops and Metafit.

Anyone who can help out, can contact Colin on 07773 475938.
