A young entrepreneur has launched a new venture that he hopes will be everybody’s cup of tea.
Dylan Mckee, 18, from Seghill, has developed a new social network for tea lovers called Tealy.
With a free app and website, Tealy gives users a chance to share their photos, recommend teas and tea shops, comment on other people’s posts and find out everything tea related near to their location.
Dylan, a Whitley Bay High School student, has been developin apps for himself and businesses for several years.
As a tea lover himself, Dylan feels that others will also want to share the experience.
Dylan said: “Tea is increasingly popular and there are more and more tea companies and tea shops springing up – I just thought there was a real need for something like this.
“There is nothing like it aimed just at tea connoisseurs who love to share their thoughts and recommendations about all the different types you can get and also find some new ones to taste themselves.
The free Tealy app is available for iPhones and iPads in the App store – find out more on www.tealyapp.com
