Fair and open day planned

A RETIREMENT property in Blyth will be holding a Christmas fair and open day next week.

The event takes place at Pembroke Court in Plessey Road and will be for all the community.

Older people and their families at Anchor’s Pembroke Court, have spent weeks preparing for the event on Wednesday, December 19, which runs from 10am to noon.

Manager Dawn Young said: “We hope to see lots of new faces from the community taking part.

“Everyone – tenants and staff – have worked together to come up with fantastic event.
