Local children are invited to dance, balance and cheer their way into the summer holidays with amazing free street dance demonstrations and workshops at Keel Row Shopping Centre in Blyth.
On Saturday, August 9, local children’s dance studio, The Factory Dance Academy, is giving budding performers the opportunity to take part in two special free dance workshops that will see the bustling Shopping Centre filled with mini hip-hop, break-dance and street-cheer dancers.
Choreographed by professional dancers, the workshops will be led by Factory Dance Academy’s instructors and will end with a mini-performance for watching parents, learning impressive new moves is guaranteed.
Keel Row centre manager, Callum Reid, said: “This summer we wanted to create a programme of free events which would appeal to children of all ages.
“Our street dance workshops are fun and interactive, teaching a wide range of impressive skills in an exciting new way.”
Due to the popularity of Keel Row’s free events, visitors wishing to take part in workshop are encouraged to arrive early to avoid disappointment.
