Businesses in south east Northumberland are providing children with crafty fun this summer.

Blyth-based businesswoman Diane Wilkinson, of The Creation Station, is working in partnership with the Garden Centre Group to provide arts and crafts for youngsters during the summer holidays.

The partnership started during the May half term holidays when Diane provided drop-in crafts at Heighley Gate Garden Centre near Morpeth, which proved so successful that the group asked her to provide further workshops.

Diane said: “I am really excited to be working with the Garden Centre Group as I think it is important for local businesses to support each other and bring new experiences to our customers.”

The Creation Station will be providing free arts and crafts at Heighley Gate and Gosforth garden centres over the August bank holiday weekend from noon to 3pm.
