A free, annual handbook for people with long-term health conditions has been published again.
LIVINGeasy is for people with disabilities, physical or mental health conditions and their families, friends and carers, and includes details of leisure activities, sports, holidays, health support groups, specialist facilities and services.
There is advice on employment, benefits and consumer issues and remaining independent in your home.
Editor Heather Alabaster said: “We found that many people with particular health conditions have to travel widely around the region to find the support they need.
“We wanted to help by highlighting more services.
“There’s so much more going on than we thought, fantastic sports and activity programmes being developed and health and wellbeing projects to support people with long-term health issues.”
