Freemasons boost for county’s youngsters

PUPILS across the county who are at risk of underachieving in school have received a cash boost, thanks to a grant from the Freemasons’ Grand Charity.

The grant will help fund The Prince’s Trust xl programme, which supports pupils aged 13 to 19 at risk of underachievement or exclusion.

Chris Gray, from the trust, said: “We meet young people every day who believe they have no future. We think they are wrong.

“Thanks to the charity, we will be able to transform more young lives, helping young people to re-engage with education and work towards a brighter future.”
