Staff at Woodhorn Museum are gearing up for a busy time over the Easter weekend with a bumper programme of family fun planned plus a brand new spring craft fair.
From Friday until Monday the Easter Bunny will meet and greet visitors around the former colliery site, and young visitors who spot the bunny during their visit will be able to claim a small surprise from the special guest.
Easter Monday will be the big day and will see Woodhorn’s first spring craft fair with some of the north east’s best makers and crafters, from 11am until 4pm. And outside, birds of prey from Ridgeside Falconry will be on display at noon and 2pm.
On Saturday morning at 10.30am the museum will be the gathering place for motorbikes taking part in the 2014 Blyth Valley MAG Easter Run. Visit www.experiencewoodhorn.com for more details.
