New tea group opens for elderly in Northumberland
A NEW tea time club will open its doors next month.
Tea Timers will run every Sunday from February 10, from 4pm and 6pm at St Paul’s Church in Cramlington, providing elderly people with an opportunity to enjoy conversation, light refreshments and fun quizzes.
Tea Timers has been set up in partnership with St Paul’s parish as part of St Cuthberts Care’s PACE (Parish and Community Enablement) project.
Tea Timers costs just £1.50 per person, and more information or details on how to volunteer are available by calling Tony Turner on 07940 749055.
