Pair acquire qualification

Two members of staff are looking to the future after attaining industry qualifications.

Janice Sharpless and Rachael Bell, who work at Specsavers in Blyth, both recently qualified in CertThree Ophthalmic Dispensing.

The company said the pair have worked tirelessly over the past six months and were assessed in several areas including spectacle dispensing, understanding lens materials, anatomy of the eye and understanding visual problems.

John Ludlow, director of Specsavers in Blyth, said: “Janice and Rachael both committed to this extra qualification from the start and we are all extremely proud of them.

“We pride ourselves in offering our people careers with opportunities.”
