Police appeal after tools are stolen from a farm

A NUMBER of tools worth hundreds of pounds have been stolen in a burglary at a farm on the outskirts of Morpeth.

Officers from Northumbria Police are appealing for witnesses to the theft which happened between 4pm on Wednesday, February 20, and Saturday morning (February 23) at a farm off the A192 in Hepscott, Morpeth.

The offender went into an unlocked outbuilding and stole a number of tools.

Among the items taken were a red and black Milwaukee breaker, a Paslode nail gun, a red and black Milwaukee saw, a Bosch drill, a Makita circular saw, a Milwaukee drill, and assorted drill bits in a yellow box.

Officers are appealing for anyone who saw suspicious activity or vehicles in the area, or who has been offered any of the stolen items for sale, to get in touch.
