Talented musicians at a Cramlington primary school have treated their friends and families to an evening of musical entertianment.

Young instrumentalists from Cragside C of E Primary School, took part in a summer musical event with music from the school’s violinists and ukulelists, Djembe drummers and the choir.

More than 70 young musicians from the school enjoyed performing to the invited audience.

Headteacher Paul Rusby said: “Being a school who celebrates it’s art and cultural developments we regularly welcome the opportunity for performance at Cragside.

“It is fantastic to share in all our pupils’ musical talents.

“Thank you to school staff and Northumberland Music Education Hub for supporting the school with all the enriching musical opportunities.

“The evening was a great success.”
