A Blyth woman has won the chance to represent the county in a nation-wide beauty competition.
Twenty-year-old Rebekah Jeffreys won the Beauty of Northumberland title in the Beauty of the UK, and will now go onto the final in October.
Rebekah said: “I think I am a good ambassador for Northumberland because I’m a hard-working individual that understands how much work is actually involved in being an ambassador for the area.
“I think my passion for health as a student nurse and my enthusiasm for helping others makes me a good role model for young women in Northumberland.
“I very much believe in the work that beauty pageants do, they are a great way to meet new people and a fun way to raise money for a good cause.”
Rebekah is now looking for businesses to sponsor her. Anyone interested can email firstname.lastname@example.org
