A mum from Northumberland has been nominated for the sixth year in a row in a national children’s awards scheme.

Julia Maugham, from TinyTalk, has once again been put forward for the What’s On 4 2014 Junior Awards.

Julia, from Cramlington, won the national title in 2009, and has bene nominated every year since.

The TinyTalk baby and toddler signing classes in Cramlington have this year been nominated in the Most Outstanding Activity Leader for the Under Fives category, which means Julia is through to the national voting stage.

Julia, who now runs classes in Cramlington, Morpeth, Blyth and Ponteland, said: “Every year it is a surprise and an honour to be nominated by the parents and carers who come to my classes.

“I love baby singing and I hope my ‘TinyTalkers’ do too.

“To be nominated again for the sixth time is astounding and I thank everyone who nominated me.” 

This year the awards are bigger than ever, covering 22 different categories ranging from Best Pre/ Post Natal Activity to Best After School Club.

The winners will be announced at the live ceremony on Friday, June 20.
