Stephen’s RAF honour

A FORMER Bedlington teacher has been awarded a top RAF commendation.

Squadron Leader Stephen Bryce has been presented with the Air Officer Commanding Number 22 Group Commendation.

The 49-year-old former pupil and PE teacher at St Benet Biscop High School joined the RAF in 1989.

He was presented with the award by Air Vice Marshal Lloyd at RAF headquarters in High Wycombe.

Sq Ldr Bryce is director of the RAF School of Physical Education at RAF Cosford.
