Teenage girl grabbed by man in street
A TEENAGE girl was grabbed by a man while she was out in Bedlington.
The 16-year-old was in Stead Lane at 10pm on Wednesday, October 24, when she was approached by a man who was walking a dog.
He made conversation with her before putting his arm around her waist.
When he released his grip, she walked off uninjured.
The man is described as aged in his 50s or 60s, between 5ft 6ins and 5ft 8ins tall, of chubby build, and wearing a light chequered coat, casual black trousers and a black flat cap.
He was walking a white dog.
Police are making enquiries into the report of common assault and are keen to find the man to find out what happened.
