Thief stole photographs that cannot be replaced

THE victim of a burglary is appealing for the return of a digital camera..

The thief got into the back of the house on Murston Avenue in Cramlington, between 5am and 5.15am on New Year’s Day, where they snatched a handbag before leaving through the front door.

The bag contained a Vivitar V7025 digital camera, with a black leather case, which contained sentimental family photographs that the owner is keen to get back, as well as cash and cards and other items.

Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to contact police on the 101 non-emergency number, ext 69191.
