Four vehicles parked in Albatross Way, Heron Close and Esher Gardens in Blyth were broken into between 2pm on Monday, December 15, and 8am the following day.
The stolen items include two orange Stihl chainsaws, a pair of DKNY sunglasses, an Apple Ipod Touch, a Tom Tom sat nav, and a case of red wine. Blyth Neighbourhood Sergeant Garry Neill said: “Try not to leave anything expensive in the car at all and definitely don’t leave anything on show. We would also ask people to be vigilant and report any suspicious behaviour they see to local police. Any suspicious vehicles, people hanging around cars or anything that doesn’t seem right can be reported to us on 101.”
Anyone with any information into the thefts or who is offered any of the stolen items for sale is asked to contact police on 101.
